Limited stock of the 30th Anniversary PS5 controller just dropped

There's fresh but limited stock in for the DualSense Wireless Controller 30th Anniversary Limited Edition at Currys.

There really should be a better system of buying these special limited edition things like requiring a number of trophies on a PlayStation account and one per account. Scalpers are trying to sell these off for tripple the price and the fans are the ones who loose.

I had to battle my way through three retailers to manage to secure a single controller I only wanted one and I was very lucky while sites crashed left right and center

I'd say 1 Plat, but people would probably just make accounts, play My Name is Mayo and scalp controllers. But at least they made the effort then? I dunno.

Good point it could be play time make it so you're only eligible is you've had 200 hours on your PSN account since inception (dating back to PS3) it should be reasonable for most players that have invested in the ecosystem to have had that much at minimum even if you only came into the ecosystem on the ps5

Thing is there are so many of them platinum within 5 minute games. Most of them puzzles. I remember paying 12p last year for chicken on the road. Had a plastinim within a few minutes.

In 2024 there so many games that can give you a plat in less than 5 min and that unlocks ps5 plat if you load the ps4 save

I already have mine on pre order. I notice alliexpress are selling 30th anniversary (bootleg) plates. After seeing the quality of the Spiderman bootleg plates I'll happily buy some for the pro from alliexpress.
