A New Death Note Video Game Is Coming to the PS4 & PS5

The publisher behind Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero will release a new Death Note anime video game for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Hope it’s good and not another anime fighting game either.

ZeekQuattro215d ago (Edited 215d ago )

Watch it be a Dead by Daylight like. Even Dragon Bal Z got in on that.

drgkngx214d ago

I am absolutely STUNNED that DBZ game is still alive.

Redgrave214d ago

There's no way this ends up good. I simply can't see how they'd translate the material in an engaging manner.

8 player PVP race to get the death note and write your opponents names first to win! But be careful, just because you got the note first doesn't mean you get to keep it! It can be knocked off of you and stolen by the other players! Make sure to get it back before it's YOUR name being written!

I can't imagine this game as anything but a telltale or quantic dream type game.

Viryu214d ago

If it was like a the old Telltale games it would be good. It will most likely be just a visual novel.

gold_drake213d ago (Edited 213d ago )

how would that even work?

the anime is brilliant but its .. mkay, i just dont see it lol

They are going to raise the price on this game.

Can’t wait! Like my hype has never been this high for a game. I hope it really delivers and looks like what they’re showing. Like, I’ll finally feel like we’ve entered next-gen if it does.

lucasnooker3h ago

Only game this generation I’m truly hyped for. A true AAA big budget banger pushing the hardware to the limits like the good old days!

Levii_923h ago

I can't wait for this overblown cutscene game to come out so i never buy it and spend money on it.

pwnmaster30002h ago

Thanks for sharing.
I guess I’ll do the opposite

Yui_Suzumiya1h ago

Hell yes! Someone speaking my language for once.

GhostScholar2h ago

Technically it looks incredible but I’m a bit disappointed that it’s turned into a franchise about heists. I miss the more carried mission structure. I miss having just one playable character too.

Putte43m ago

Exactly. It's a shame we don't have one playable character. And the boring heist all the time. Miss the more grounded story's about people.

Extermin8or3_31m ago

You realise you can have both on the story right?

PhillyDonJawn1h ago

They're definitely gonna charge 2x. Full cost for the story. $80 Full cost for the MP. $80 complete $160 Bundle with some in game currency and Cosmetic dlc. $200

Bubsy's Purrfect Collection Couldn't Be in Better Hands | VGChartz Preview

VGChartz's Evan Norris: "During my time at PAX East, Sorlie walked me through two titles: the original Bubsy on SNES (his personal favorite) and the now infamous Bubsy 3D, the franchise's first foray into three dimensions. Each game in the anthology will feature the quality-of-life features common to Limited Run's Carbon Engine, including rewind, save states, screen & filter options, and even an optional "boost mode" that overclocks the system slightly to remove slowdown."

My one friend and I loved Bubsy 1. We used to compare him to Sonic all the time. So with us and the one person from this article it has at least three fans. 🤣

I was so lucky as a kid my parents convinced me to rent Busby 3d first because I was full steam ahead on buying it with my pocket money based on the advertising alone.
