The premise of it sounds interesting for sure but no gaming IP should ever go the route of gacha. I'd have dismissed Rising completely as a shameless cash grab as most gachas are but it is supposedly good.
I played the beta for a while and it was fun, almost like playing the main game, but it's almost impossible to play for long periods of time in such a small screen. If they somehow integrated the game into the main Destiny game and it was something I can play every day, I'd spend more time with it.
