It is massive compared to the switch 1. 6-10X the power, but compared to current standards it’s the bare minimum.
It's just a minor upgrade nothing special. Could have included the Oled screen but greedy Nintendo have something planned for it already.

Great review! We have almost the same impression of the Switch 2. I don't care if the screen isn't OLED, because when I put it next to my friend's Steam OLED screen, they barely deviated in quality.

As someone who has been gaming nearly as long as gaming has been around (since the early 70's), you'd think I'd be against this. Having grown up with all the major platforms and the whole notion of physical ownership... but I'm not. i embrace this as it is a revolutionary convenience. And one i know for a fact many (especially here) have not even given the fair chance to use. I get it... i was there too. But now i have a new outlook on it. It really is a hell of an option if you just want to play with no commitments. By no means am i saying this should replace traditional gaming, its an option. And one that people should look at optimistically as a way to compliment traditional gaming. There is room for both to thrive.

Probably the best combination I built was a Geforce 2 and a pair of 3dfx Voodoo 2 in my AMD K6-3 400. I had upgraded from a Riva TNT and skipped over the TNT2 and GF256 to go right to the GF2.

I built my first PC around this time because I was playing Everquest on a mediocre prebuilt. I still have it in my garage somewhere with the rest of my PC graveyard. I did have a GEForce but it’s been so long I don’t remember the model. I built a handful more after that and now I want nothing to do with PC.
