Shouldn't judge it on buy again but for those who never played it. I don't think are trying to get those who beat the original to buy this version.

But those who haven't played the PS4 version can play it on PS5 since it's back compat.

Or those who want to play the best version possible

PC is the best way to play Until Dawn with unlocked Framerate

-"Or those who want to play the best version possible"

Well... "best version" is going to be a bit subjective, based on some of its alterations. But let's go with your argument. The case still remains: is the 'best' version worth $60 or should you settle for the back compat version that's sometimes on sale for $10? Like, to expect reviewers to avoid this dilemma inherent with an Until Dawn remaster is unfair. It's going to be a part of some or many critics' overall assessment.

I'm confused. Did they contribute to the writing of the movie?

I think the game writes should be glad... the movie is not that good. Its connection to the game is in name only.

Until Dawn Remake.

Saved you a click.

OtterX49d ago (Edited 49d ago )

Boring. The original was a decent game, but not something worth revisiting. I guess this is alright for anyone who never played the original.

Now, Rush of Blood should have been the real priority for a remake on PSVR2.

Until Dawn remake, Death Stranding, and a random PS4 game?

Until Dawn was already a PS Plus game! And not even that long ago.
The fact that JUST BECAUSE an Until Dawn movie just released in theaters so SONY trying to push the name is not right for us long time subscribers.

I mean, technically it’s the Remake. It’s possible that many missed out on the PS4 one when it was a PS+ game. I actually was interested to see what this one is like, but had no intention of buying it, so that’s a plus for me… pun intended.

There's too many games to choose from

No Metal geat solid 1,2,3,4?
No Resident evil?
No Silent hill?
No Midnight club 3?
No NfS Underground 2?
No Final Fantasy?
No Burnout 3?
No Dragon quest 8?
No Days gone?
No Ace combat?
No Tekken/Soul calibur?......
just from the top of my head

PS1 era was full of great RPGs, PS2 was racing generation i would pick top 200 and even that would be just a fraction.

FinalFantasyFanatic202d ago

30 is way too low over the entire history of Playstation, I just wouldn't be able to narrow it down that much, I would pick 100 at least.

Yeah...really odd list. I get that it is personal preference and I love most of the games listed, but my list would definitely be different. I agree though, it would be incredibly difficult to come up with just 30.

lockedongamer1202d ago (Edited 202d ago )

I only picked first-party titles. Otherwise, I agree!

EDIT: Except for Days Gone, I don't get the love for it but you do you!

Chocoburger192d ago

I didn't like Days Gone either, it doesn't deserve to be on any best of list.
