PSU writes: "PS5 Pro Game Boost is able to vastly improved the performance of more than 8,500 backwards compatible PS4 games, but it’s also able to apply some of its magic to PS5 titles. Specifically, Aoki-san revealed that even if a title is not PS5 Pro Enhanced, then Game Boost can improve things providing the game has unlocked frame rate and resolution."

The First Descendant developers revealed that the Battle Pass for Season 3 will have one significant improvement compared to the others.
Like Sony's other remasters, those who own the original on PS4 can upgrade to the remaster. Considering all the new modes, if you love Days Gone. Thanks to the PS5's solid-state drive, loading times are reduced, which means less time spent fast-travelling, respawning, or entering the game and more time playing.
The base PS5 can already boost those same PS4 titles that have an unlocked framerate and resolution. This is a misleading feature since they are not doing anything other than having the extra power of the PS5 Pro take advantage of those situations.
Unless they make it so devs don't have to update their game to support unlocked framerates and resolution, this should be ignored and treated simply as a marketing term.
Look at all these PS Pro enhanced games which I cannot play since it has no disc drive
if i remember correctly black myth quality mode runs at uncapped framerate...so hopefully it reaches 60fps.
I'm really hoping Elden Ring performs perfectly on the PS5 Pro. I'm fine staying in performance mode, I just hate that the DLC content runs between 40-55fps most the time.
Excited to set it up and see this new console in action!
