Soon gonna be time again to build Harem ville, but this time real time.
One dude loaded with simoleans, 150 desperate ladies, all in one village in the mountains cut off from the real world.

What will happen.......

I dont care much about the neighbourhood feature really...

All I care about is the main building aspect and a select few sims you control.

Also the long loading times was such a pain when you went to different screens in Sims 2. It was such a time waster to load the next area just to get to a pointless mall or restaurant.

Foxgod5728d ago

Your comment is quite contradicting.
First you say the loading and transitions in sims2 where a pain.
And now that those things are gone in the sims 3 because the entire neighbourhood is in realtime now, you still dont care about the
neighbourhood feature ?

weird :)

This game looks like crud, how about an improvement in graphics already.

Foxgod5728d ago

The graphics are improved big time.
The viewable graphics mostly made a jump in smoother animation and a cleaner look.

The biggest improvement in graphics however is that the entire neighbourhood is now realtime, no more transitions and no more loads between houses, and no more sims that dissapear when they go to work or leave your house.

I find it amazing they pull all this off on bare minimum specs, its gonna run as smooth as butter on my system, as the game can already run on three year old pc;s.

What's the oldest game you currently have installed on your PC?

Maybe you've got a favorite game from the olden days you never get rid of. Maybe you're a scrupulous uninstaller and you don't have anything from before 2013 on your pristine PC. Maybe you've got something from the 1990s taking up several whole megabytes you completely forgot about.

Age of Empires. And I still play it.

MrDead2026d ago (Edited 2026d ago )

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis.

I did have Loom but I didn't like it.

I've been replaying a bunch of old adventure games, lately. I had been playing a bunch of text adventures, but those are uninstalled now. At the moment, the oldest thing I have installed is Sierra's Police Quest Collection. When I'm done with that, I'll be moving on to Space Quest, Quest for Glory, and finishing with the best: King's Quest.

Space quest, that brings back memories.
