Tokyo Game Show showcases new scenes from the game
A media event for Death Stranding 2 was recently held in Japan, and the preview embargo is expected to be lifted on May 8, 2025.
Hideo Kojima has revealed a new feature in Death Stranding 2, promising a more accessible experience for newcomers to action games.
ehm okeeey.
i guess i get it, but shouldn't be a difficulty setting be the solution and not a skip feature?
Love the first game but the boss battles were crap, especially the Cliff ones. All Cliff encounters are exactly the same, only in different environments. Furthermore, you have to do the same thing 4 times! No different forms, no different patterns, nothing.
I mean that's a nice thought and all but if you are going to get the sequel to this I'm guessing you are going to be one of those fans who managed to do the boss battles in the original.
I don't think this is going to bring in new fans or ones who didn't like the first one in general.
I understand if it was a brand new story with new characters where you get a clean fresh slate to try and bring in everyone again but a straight up sequel...it has it's fans and I bet they managed to get through the first game no problem.
A weird idea for a sequel to have, since players need to beat the bosses of the first game, unless he plans on making the bosses more complicated this time around which I highly doubt. Honestly it's a horrible feature, for a game about the struggle of going around to deliver things, to let you skip fighting which is a part of the struggle.
Death Stranding 2's Collector's Edition comes with a variety of contents, including a statue, a figurine, art cards, and plenty of in-game items.
I can’t wait to play this! Just finished my 3rd play through of DS just to get ready for it. That Magellan Man Statue gonna look real sweet on my table!
Those graphics are insane. I had to do a double take.
I thought it was real life for a second also. I sooo can't wait for this game. You just don't get games this unique anymore, in regards to the size of the budget and the big studios.
I still love my Souls like games and open world games that I have platinumed and loved nearly all of them too. But games like this (or at least the first game) are truly special.
I assume this is running on regular PS5, but all in all, Decima is clearly a top tier engine. I mean especially the photos themselves are basically true to life.
