Minecraft Drops Big Yearly Update in Favor of Smaller Content Drops More Often; New Biome Announced

Mojang and Microsoft hosted Minecraft Live and had some relevant news to share with the fans of the massively popular survival crafting game.

Looks like the same reskinned textures in a different colour…I don’t even know how this is considered a garden.

How about some fog, mist or other weather effects

Why go into this biome? What’s the point other than to get some saplings. It just feels so disappointing all around.

You want something for players to want to roam around this creepy place at night, give them a reason.

I suppose lots of people are going to lust after the white wood. Minecraft fans are easily pleased.

Maybe but like I said above just get a few saplings and you can grow your own to farm them

Either that or just go to the edge of the biome and chop down the wood from there, then you don't actually have to go inside.

It's a shame because they are making out this is scarier then it actually is.

I just can't believe die hard Minecraft fans can be this pleased when the game has so much potential, it's like they have seen all these awesome mods with great concepts behind them but because the ideas have already been done they don't want to be seen as copying so they don't bother unless it's super original.

Let me know if it's plagued with constant crashes after you've gotten your 2nd base. That's what stopped me from playing.

I’m on my second base right now and play coop. No crashes yet. The longer I play the frame rate starts to drop though. If I play by myself it’s smooth for the most part. They do warn that playing with more than one player can cause performance drops. Hopefully they sort that out.

They should be doing small updates and a big yearly drop. The big yearly drop isn’t much to begin with.

That’s what I laugh at when people defended the big yearly drops, they were pretty barebones themselves despite how long they were worked on

Hell the Cliffs and Caves update had content held back for other releases as they didn’t finish it on time. It’s just recently they have finally give us everything with that update which was promised.
