Youda Farmer has a lot going for it: above average graphics, realistic sound effects, and gameplay that puts a new twist on farm-themed time management games. There's one problem, though: unless you use a very specific strategy that involves lining up actions ahead of time, the pace will become hopelessly hectic by level six or so.
The game's tutorial doesn't bother to explain this, which is a shame because a lot of frustrated people will no doube give up on the game prematurely. Once you've mastered the right technique, however, Youda Farmer is perfectly playable and definitely worth a look.
Easy Interactive, the Netherlands based publisher and distributor of family friendly video games, has announced its line-up for the first quarter of 2011. Among the list of scheduled games are Midnight Mysteries: The Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy, Hollywood Files: Deadly Intrigues and 100 Classic Games, as well as a number of Purple Hill titles.
Youda Farmer is a time management game written in flash. It is hard to imagine a time management game done in flash and even harder once you start playing Youda Farmer, but they did a really good job of making it work. Players have to harvest farm crops and then deliver those crops to the village. The time management part is both picking up the crops and delivering them to the village, but they happen at different times.
