BritishGaming.co.uk quizzes Sony Europe, Capcom, HotHead and others on the state of Playstation's European Store, with titles such as Street Fighter 2 Remix, Penny Arcade and Lumines Supernova, unavailable to European PS3 owners.
Fighting games have been a mainstay for decades now. The concept of dishing out cool combos and controlling powerful and eccentric characters has been around since the 1980s. Gathering around arcades with a pocket full of change and trying to go unbeaten and take down the kid who’s undefeated was normal practice. Capcom’s beloved and revered Street Fighter franchise played a vital role in that.
If you missed out on some of the PlayStation 3’s best games, you’re about to get an interesting way of rectifying that mistake.
I'm ready when does it go live is the question?
Netflix ps3 games, day one for me because i don't have no last gen consoles.
If MS does this with all their gaming catalogue i would sign up with them.
EA access is cool and it's next generation games but the list is small in comparison of PlayStation now.
uhh Earth Defense Force???????
I'm gonna try Tokyo Jungle today tho
I rented Twisted Metal and Sonic Generations for PS Vita. Love playing those games on the go. :) Can't wait till the subscription works on Vita so it'll be a portable PS3.
"You can go on about how much you know about Mega Man’s model number or the reason for Blanka’s electrical powers, but did you know of Cosmi, Under the Skin’s alien protagonist who terrorizes Earth with bowling balls, boxing gloves and bad karaoke?
With the 30th Anniversary Capcom Character Encyclopedia, now you’ll know." - Patrick Kulikowski
Don't worry, guys... SCEE is on the case...
:-/
I'll believe they're working to resolve it when it actually is resolved.
SCEE is a joke in more ways than just PSN releases, Europe gets the shaft on preorder deals and even some collectors editions (Resistance 2 for example).
It's ridiculous that it takes so long for these games to come to the EU store. If MS can treat their store as a single worldwide entity then there is no reason the different divisions of sony can't collaborate and do the same thing.
But us North American's still havn't gotten Dark Mist or Savage Moon either - injustice I tell you! lol
Is there any point in releasing SSFII Turbo HD Remix now as Street Fighter 4 is just around the corner? I purchased the game from the US PSN store, but if I hadnt I wouldnt buy it when it hits the EU store as I'll be playing SF4
Speaking of laziness I still have not seen Savage Moon on the US PSN store.
Where are all those PS1 games that are in the Japanese PSN?
How come Canada doesn't have a video store like the US? It only has two languages.
Where are the free MMOs?
When is the Namco arcade room getting to the western sections of HOME?
Truly awful
