"Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is a welcome return for one of Mickey’s most memorable adventures, this is just about everything one could’ve wanted out of a revisit to a lost classic. It fumbles its execution a bit with the performance, but there are enough novel ideas and enjoyable gameplay concepts here to make the experience more than worth your while." - Mitch Vogel | NintendoLife
Embracer Group announced its financial results for the second quarter of the fiscal year, 2024/25, and they aren't great.
That rampant spreading spree since 2017 was bound to end in a bad way at some point. They overextended unfortunately
If only there was some type of organization… maybe even a governmental one… that could stop companies from wrecking an industry by spending buckets of money they don’t actually have.
Nah. That would be socialism.
VGChartz's Evan Norris: "Thanks to Purple Lamp and THQ Nordic, Epic Mickey gets another opportunity to shine. Even better, it gets a chance to expand upon what worked in 2010 and fix what didn't. Thanks to refined camera controls, additional moves, quality-of-life enhancements, expanded 2D platforming sections, and the retention of almost everything that made the Wii version special, Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is the best way to experience Mickey's adventure in Wasteland. There's still room for improvement — particularly with the morality system and voice acting — and there are a handful of performance issues in the Switch version, but overall this remake is a beautiful tribute to an epic game."
TNS: "Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is a faithful remake of the 2010 classic with modern gameplay mechanics, QoL features, and stunning visuals."
I'll probably grab this, this is a remaster of an already good game that i never got to play, Mickey games remind me of when Disney could pull some real magic an not whatever they do these days.
