Metal Slug: Awakening is a fun side-scrolling shoot em' up, but the story is barebones, and the controls never felt like they 100% clicked.
SNK Global tweeted earlier reports of Metal Slug: Awakening coming to PlayStation 4 and 5 are false, confirming the title will currently remain on mobile - Infinite Start
Being that it's a mobile game, it's absolutely going to come over to the online console stores as an easy as -F port (I mean who are you kidding?). Oh, and at least x2 the cost as well.
