S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 runs at 60fps on the Series X flexing that 12TF muscles. So... yeah

“On Xbox Series X, we have two available modes. One of them is Performance Mode, where STALKER 2 is running with 60 FPS and slightly different graphics than in Quality Mode, which looks super awesome with all the reflections and high-resolution textures, but runs at 30 FPS."

Good news is that the Series S actually running it at 35fps for most parts will not bode well with the usual suspects.

Pretty sure the developers will deliver a solid performance across both platforms. MS should acquire capable/passionate studios like GSC Game World, rather than publishers going forward.

Pretty sure this is ar*e covering, but 25 fps was going to be hitting over 30 fps by release, so I hope series S users have a good game.
Shame its 1080p to hit 60 fps on Series X, but modern upscaling techniques leave a lot of 1080p images looking pretty fine to me - I think wukong on ps5 at 1080p looks good.

I'm hoping this game lands well for the Devs, and indeed for Xbox who could use a decent exclusive thats worth playing.

Wukong does not look good in performance mode on console at all. Its blurry as fuck and doesn't even maintain 60

The real culprits here are consoles with mid components trying to run UE5 which demands a lot from current gen.

We are all entitled to our views and I disagree with yours based on first hand experience.
If it drops frames I don't notice, probably as I'm using VRR, and I have motion blur on the minimum setting. The two friends I know with PS5's both remarked how excellent it looks while they were visiting, and both have bought it since on PS5.

I willing to bet you are simply stating what you have heard and have no first hand experience of this at all, simply parroting what you have read.

Honestly 35 is awful, just lock at 30 that's a much better experience.
