Kicking off gamescom Opening Night Live, Gearbox has officially announced Borderlands 4 with a teaser trailer, and it's out in 2025.
Gearbox is delivering a blockbuster loot shooter sequel with none of the baggage.
In today's special State of Play presentation, Creative Director Graeme Timmins and Senior Project Producer Anthony Nicholson showed off the deepest ever look at Borderlands 4's explosive, carnage-filled gameplay.
For dedicated Borderlands player, what is the vibe/take on this game? Pre-order worthy?
Good news for looter-shooter fans: the eagerly-awaited Borderlands 4 will now launch more than a week earlier than originally planned.
The State of Play yesterday kinda confused me on this.
The B-roll footage looked way more fun, explosive, creative, and smoother (at 60fps) than the actual gameplay demo, which was in a flat-looking metallic icy area in 30fps and seemed very run-of-the-mill in comparison.
Considering the writing team is trying to avoid a specific kind of tone in their approach to the game, I wonder if it'll be more like the B-roll and those quick exciting moments, or the latter...
oooo the cinamatic looked soo good.
i wonder what it all means ha
Hopefully it has a better story than BL3, I just couldn't get into it. I loved BL2 though, Platinumed it on PS3, Vita and PS4.
Hope its using UE5 this time and has updated design and visuals.
.... and again, what happened to Brothers in Arms, Gearbox
That's one way to make up for the movie, they probably had planned to announce it alongside the movie anyway but the movie floppin works in their favour more.
Please no woke story and cast.
