4 days before launch Aug 26th

Nooderus295d ago

Thank you, and pretty fair date

VenomUK295d ago

Does Star Wars Outlaws have micro transactions? Some Ubisoft games do now, but I haven’t heard anything about this so I wonder if it’s because Disney forbid it or because after the game has launched they will be a nice surprise.

robtion295d ago

Yes but actually only one day before launch for anyone buying the Gold edition or higher. So pretty standard as people will be streaming the game as of the 27th.

just_looken295d ago (Edited 295d ago )

So expect ghost recon breakpoint level of micro transaction's by the 31st understood.

SPEAKxTHExTRUTH295d ago

For some reason I actually want this game.

Rebel_Scum294d ago

Im in the weird position of wanting to own it but not playing it for any large stretch. Its coming across as Watch Dogs in Star Wars and I only liked the the first Watch Dogs.

CrimsonWing69294d ago

Yea I’m with you. I don’t know if I took a knock to the head or something, but it looks great to me. So, yea, I’m all excited for it.

SPEAKxTHExTRUTH294d ago

Same lol I just can’t put my finger on why I want it but I’m definitely getting it.

Hofstaderman295d ago

Does this game require you to be always online to play? Because if thats so I am not buying this new.

jznrpg294d ago (Edited 294d ago )

I had to look it up. It can be played offline but you need to be online to install it even with a disc which is lame.

Hofstaderman294d ago

Thanks. Then its a pass for me.

EternalTitan294d ago

The Gollum Like genre needs some love.

should’ve been named Pirate’s Booty

beerhound24d ago

But then this guy would've made an obscure Spin Doctor's reference, and no one wants that.

beerhound24d ago

Have fun storming the castle.

YourMommySpoils23d ago

@babadivad it means you wont find the Princess here.

thorstein23d ago (Edited 23d ago )

OMG,
I am quoting Toy Story because Baba doesn't know art: the Princess Bride quote from beerhound.

It isn't inappropriate. It's movie quotes.

If it's distributed on a key card, then they're not getting my money!

Tacoboto26d ago

You already know it is and they weren't getting your money anyway

QuantumMechanic26d ago

I like Star Wars games. I would have bought it if they gave it a proper physical release.

ZeekQuattro26d ago

I don't why people feel the need to even say it. Plus the PS5 and Series versions are basically the equivalent of keycards as you need internet to download the rest of the game anyway to be able to play. 😆

QuantumMechanic26d ago

For example, I bought the PS4 version (full build on disc) of Jedi Survivor, released a year-and-a-half after the gimped PS5 physical release (key disc).

If you’re so close to release and already perfectly optimised why haven’t we seen any of it in action. It all seems very strange even releasing comments of the scepticism of it even being able to run on the switch 2 while still not showing anything… and offering the whole package at standard price… something doesn’t add up. Just show images or videos and quiet all the naysayers down or quit with the BS.

Star Wars Outlaws review - ChristCenteredGamer

CCG writes - "Star Wars Outlaws is fun, kept me engaged for about 90 hours, and Kay is a fun character to explore four fairly large environments with. It does a good job of faithfully representing the Star Wars galaxy far far away and stays mostly true to the lore and established characters. There are tie-ins to several of the movies and shows such as Solo and The Empire Strikes Back. If you like Star Wars and you can overlook the subtle and unnecessary woke expressions, then you'll likely enjoy the game. In my humble opinion Outlaws is over-priced at $70 for the standard game, so you may want to wait for a sale."
