Sony has updated the PlayStation Stars PS Store rewards section, removing nearly all of them except for one game and virtual currency.
Qualifying Points redeemable until November 2026.
Yea I just got an email as well.
On PS blog it clearly said "Starting today, PlayStation Stars will no longer accept new members for this version of the program. "
I was talking about new members can't use their loyalty program. Or returning members.
Basically it's until Nov next year, try not leave PS Star beforehand.
“Current PlayStation Stars members can still earn Digital Collectibles, Points and level up their status until July 23, 2025 at 7:59AM PDT | 3:59PM BST | 11:59PM JST. After this date, there will be no new PlayStation Stars Campaigns available, or any additional rewards or status benefits to earn.”
So July is the cutoff? I should have one more $5 reward by then.
“This version of the PlayStation Stars program will fully end on November 2, 2026 and current PlayStation Stars members can continue to redeem Points as long as their Points don’t expire before then. “
November it’s all over. Long time to wait for a replacement. They definitely need something. Just redeemed $5 today.

PlayStation stars is getting some big changes that are upsetting fans
That's probably for the best, the only thing anyone should ever redeem is the store credit. Though I see they have some redeems for NBA, Genshin, HSR and Destiny that cost $5 plus tax normally, so buying those with points would be a tax free way to buy them.
If this is anything it's them listening to the complaints about the games which were often cheaper on sale than the price they could be redeemed with for points.
Thank goodness wallet funds are still there. We just redeemed $5 last night.
This is a wonky service so people should be redeeming their points for 5 dollar credits as soon as you have enough.
I redeemed $40 worth of credit I did not even know were in there.
Well damn... I forget about this. I just checked and had enough points for $20... thank you Sony.
