He also predicts that the console will launch in the first half of next year.

At the moment, this remaster of Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny looks like it’ll be exactly what fans crave from Onimusha, while adding in a brand new mode and accessible content right out of the gate.
Silent Hill: Townfall is shrouded in mystery, leaving the game with the tough task of meeting the expectations of franchise fans.
500? I can't see that, especially for only around PS4 level power, a bit expensive especially for the slightly less hardcore Nintendo audience.
It would be in line with Nvidia's price hike in pretty much all their other sectors. However, I think it's a bit too much. I can see it being priced at that level for the OLED variant, but the basic unit should be around $400 at most. Otherwise, Nintendo will just end up helping to justify devices like the Steam Deck and Asus Ally.
$499 and get ready for $70 games. Giving Nintendo $70 for a 6 or 7 year old game because they don't do price cuts
500 will be a hard sell for a console. I'm thinking more 399 imo. I think the switch 2 just needs to be about as powerful as the steam deck. Dlss will be able to take care of performance boosts and 4k upscaling.
But as powerful as the ps4 would be great actually if the price really is $500. For me and core fans it'll be good, not sure about the casuals.
If Nintendo's does a $500 console (big 'if' since I don't believe it), they would also have a cheaper $250 - $350 varient as well.
Zero percent chance Nintendo comes out with only one version of Switch 2 at $500. Absolutely laughable logic that ignores Nintendo's entire gaming history, which is for their devices to be made as cheaply as possible to get people to buy into their ecosystem.
