Silent Bomber is such a sick game! I remember it being on some demo disc I had, probably from PlayStation Magazine. Eventually, I bought it, and I don't even remember where from. All I have is the disc, because it's expensive and rare. A really fun game though

I remember playing the demo, when I went to Electronics Boutique to buy it, there was only one copy left, and the employee said he was holding it for himself, but he would sell it to me if I asked.

I wanted to be a nice guy, so I said no and let him buy it. Now the game is probably worth a lot. Alas!

Still play Silent Bomber to this day
Really fun game. it is expensive as you said 79.00 on Amazon
85.00 on eBay

I often got One and Apocalypse (starring Bruce Willis) mixed up, because they were so similar. Both were decent for their time, so I'd add Apocalypse also.

Apocalypse is awesome too! Great choice. I played the crap outta that

Nuclear and Soviet Strike...Was there ever a similar game released in the last years?

I do believe I came across one on psn when I was scrolling through sales recently. I wish I could remember the name.

Renegade Ops is the closest thing to it. Although you dont play as a helicopter all the time there is the ability to do it. Its a damn fine game.

More recently Megacopter Blades of the Goddess came out on PC and that is closer to the 16bit games and from what I’ve played of the demo is pretty good.

Thanks a lot, will check out both of them ^^

Why do we think this is coming out on Switch 2 before Xbox? Any thoughts? The S2 is not more powerful than the Series S so it’s not a ‘lack of power’ issue. Perhaps the sales forecast is higher on S2 than Xbox so that’s maybe where their priority lies?

jznrpg1h ago(Edited 1h ago)

It’s definitely a sales issue. If Xbox didn’t have players used to GamePass I bet it would be there already.

Wow, it has a lot bread new lunches to offer, excited for it.

2K Games is there and supposedly Square Enix as well. It is nice to ser bigger publishers return to U.S. shows and hopefully it continues as I have not been to PAX West since 2019 as it's all indies and not worth the travel for me. Staff handles it but if this continues I can see me being back in Seattle for the big show.

I mean… it was pretty underwhelming. They basically slapped on that overused “neon remaster” aesthetic that a bunch of older revivals have leaned on, cranked up the speed a bit, and called it a day. No real innovation, no fresh ideas, just a faster, flashier version of something we’ve already seen.
