Rockstar ought to take a serious look at Rio de Janeiro as a backdrop for a future Grand Theft Auto game.
Rio de Janeiro is just asking for a Grand Theft Auto remake. A large gap between the rich and the poor, abundance of foreign tourists, thriving drug trade and pervasive police corruption due to low wages combine to create a petri dish for criminal activities. But don't take my word for it, check out these excerpts from the Overseas Security Advisory Council… they make it sound like the acts common in a GTA game are actually commonplace in Brazil's second largest city:
Get the scoop on Comedy Central's exciting new cartoon show inspired by the iconic Golden Axe video game
Golden Axe is a great game I enjoyed it on the SMS, Genesis and in the arcade. Great game but it truly was a quarter eater back in the day. I wish Sega could get the rights to the arcade port of Moonwalker another great arcade game I enjoyed. Collect so many monkeys and become Robo Michael lol.
GB: "With this feature, we will be taking a look at 15 of the best games from the PlayStation 2's vast library."
Toyohashi, Japan is set to host a large-scale Monster Hunter event to celebrate the franchise's 20th anniversary, complete with themed hotel accommodations.
That would be awesome!!! Rio de Janeiro has what it takes to be the next scenario for a GTA game. The rich and the poor, pretty girls, favela (slums), mafia, drug lords, mansions, prostitution, beautiful landscape, ocean, airport, tall buildings, mountains, suburbs, awesome cars, crappy cars, etc... all in one place. Just brilliant.
I just hope for the rockstar team not to get killed studding the favela.
something in the vibe of City of gods would be N33T!
