It's still in its early days, but players are getting tired of the same old missions and boss fights in The First Descendant.

I noticed (and left the game) when I noticed that, in some cases, I would need to have other characters to farm materials for more materals for, yet, even more characters. It's insane grind, it's almost begging you to spend real money to avoid the very system of the game

I almost caved and was about to buy a descendant. I also felt I needed to support the devs in some way for the hrs I played. The cost is 300 Caliber but the $4.99 pack only comes with 250 Caliber. That disgusting pricing structure turned me off completely.

I played it for a couple hours and what I got out of it is just do repetitive missions over and over again, go to location, shoot enemies, go to next location, shoot enemies, etc rinse and repeat

Modern day trash game design, grind, filler, padding, and of course how could we forget the micro-trash-action store?

One major problem I have noticed is that the weapons are the same. I was expecting ultimate weapons to be more interesting like shooting plasma, lava or lightning. Instead they are almost no different from regular drops you pickup.

Regular bullet weapons that perform the same are just boring.
