The Nerd Stash: FragPunk’s gameplay session at Summer Games Fest was a pleasant surprise. Its fast-paced action and strategic card mechanics sets it apart.

VGChartz's Lee Mehr: "From the cards that drive its gameplay to the storefront schemes that maintain its servers, FragPunk is a chaotic specimen by nature. To its credit, that's a great way to get a foot in the door within such a saturated market. Whether or not it keeps that interest is more uncertain. Because, sure, the shooting foundation, round time, etc. are geared towards high-intensity shootouts that can capture a certain high. But once that momentum slows down, as you navigate away from the game modes, Bad Guitar's Corporatized Anarchy™ aesthetic makes you realize: order shouldn't get such a bad rap."
"The Hangzhou-based video games publisher and developer NetEase Games and indie games developer Bad Guitar Studio, are today very proud and glad to announce that their 5v5 hero-based FPS “FragPunk”, is now available for consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X) via digital stores." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
This game looks surprisingly good, I rolled my eyes when I saw it was a Hero shooter but after looking into it more, I'm definitely going to give it a chance. The concept sounds unique enough.
Also the tags in this post are wrong. FragPunk is not releasing on Playstation.
