Nvidia GeForce Now app allegedly coming to Xbox, leaks suggest

Xbox consoles are allegedly going to be getting Nvidia GeForce Now streaming capabilities, according to leaks.

If this is true then the exec team at Microsoft/Phil Spencer is deliberately sabotaging the Xbox business to accelerate a move away from its costly console towards becoming fully third-party. It’s disappointing to see how much consumer goodwill and faith in the Xbox brand has been squandered since the start of the year.

It could be that by allowing other streaming services onto Xbox consoles it's bringing Sonys platforms into the spotlight with regulators so eventually further down the line we could have Gamepass on PlayStation.

Since early in the year when news about the Xbox changes were first rumoured the most loyal cheerleaders in the Xbox community have been on an emotional rollercoaster expressing anger and upset at Microsoft - these people are not fanboys from different platforms but the most prominent and loyal Xbox fans.

Assuming you're talking to me (really, you need to be more direct with your comments and who you are specifically responding to), would you mind pointing to examples of where I said something about Xbox and was very wrong? The charge of being wrong on " every occasion" is a pretty big statement, especially when history tracks well with my comment on this very topic: that Microsoft's ability to burn through goodwill should not be underestimated.

You are missing the point. If this is real, they are opening their platform to a competitor of their own very strategically important cloud service.
Cloud service which is a major argument to promote Xbox consoles to customers.

You can connect the dots from here, this is equivalent of allowing Sony PSN store on Xbox, meaning games sales fees would not go to MS but to its competitor, on its own machines.

That makes no sense if true, except maybe is MS is planning to drop Xbox hardwares and transform the brand as an aggregator of stores and cloud services in hope to promote its internal services to a larger audience, to boost sales growth.
