Another example of S holding things back.

DivineHand1251d 10h ago

Did you read the article. The Xbox version was delayed because of the outage issue with crowdstrike. Nonehere they mentioned the series S.

Game gives off RollCage vibe. Anyone with me on that?

purple1011d 8h ago

yep deffo. something to do with the textures.

roll cage had a good soundtrack if I remember rightly. and some weapons, I'm dying for another good car combat game. Activision had blur if you remember that one>?? I want something like that.

BigBosss22h ago

I used to give away hundreds of codes to people with Blur. This was when I used to write for a website lol. I miss games like OG Burnout games, Carmageddon, Twisted Metal, etc.

And the trend continues...

The reason for the Xbox delay is stated in the article. This "Console war" mentality is so overdone at this point it almost makes people seem stupid.

"As we revealed last week, the game’s release date was slated for the 23rd of July, but its Xbox release has been delayed due to last week’s global IT outage. The downtime, caused by a borked Microsoft Windows update from cyber security firm CrowdStrike, has had huge knock-on effects worldwide, with ExoCross’s Xbox release also falling victim."

Lol yeah and it's not exactly a game of the year candidate people are dying to play day one.

Indeed, and for instance look at the comment below by anast that proves what I just said.

Obviously didn't read the article, jumped in and instantly sprouted something nonsensical.

For me, these Mario + Rabbids games were the best thing Ubisoft has developed in recent years. I'd hate to see Ubisoft drive the series into the ground like their other properties, so I think 2 games are enough. Maybe 1 more.

Inverno2d ago

They can't ruin it because Ninty will send their ninjas to destroy all traces of it. If not for that you can bet that spinoff series would've been milked dry by now.

Good luck in your future endeavors

Thank you for Mario + Rabbids series, I quite enjoyed it

Great games, I have wanted Sony to copy these games with their own mascots for years.

Michiel19891d 13h ago

not cinematic or 3rd person enough for Sony

I think Nintendo has to hire this guy, I mean the fact that miuamoto himself said to him that he is impressed with this work, speaks volumes. Th possibility on having Mario on Soliani's hand could be incredible and quite possibly a new era for Mario games.

OtterX2d ago (Edited 2d ago )

Yea, these games didn't even feel Ubisoft at all. This felt very authentic Nintendo. This guy's direction is obviously stellar, and Ubisoft somehow managed to not kill it with microtransactions and repetitive, boring tasks.
