Sony has once again begun to sell digital PS5 game codes, though, for now, only PSVR2 titles are available in this manner.
Hogwarts Legacy has remained in first place on the UK retail charts, according to GfK data for the week ending April 19, 2025.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, following the release of the PS5 version, came in second place.
Astro Bot dropped one spot to third place, while Monster Hunter Wilds remained in fourth place. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is up one spot to fifth place and EA Sports FC 25 is up six spots to sixth place.
Some of the best PS5 games are exclusives like God of War Ragnarok and Astro Bot, but there are some indie highlights as well.
The PlayStation 5 was the best-selling console worldwide with 1,137,164 units sold for March 2025, according to VGChartz estimates. The PlayStation 5 has now sold an estimated 75.28 million units lifetime worldwide.

Year-on-year so far:
PS5
• Jan. -31%
• Feb. -7%
• Mar. -11.1%
X|S
• Jan. -48%
• Feb. -21%
• Mar. -27.5%
Funny how the console with 'no games' outsells its key competitor by nearly 1 million units.
They need to start selling normally again. I used to buy them for gifts for friends who do not buy physical at all. Don't have or collect a single physical game. Plus you could always find great deals on 2nd-hand codes that were not used.
One of the reasons I never got a PSVR2 was due to the lack of physical games. Don't want a paperweight headset when the inevitable happens.
Will Sony delete my games whenever they feel like it?
