Looks very interesting ngl I would've loved swinging around NY with my guild mates and friends.

already seems better than the cluttered Suicide Squad

It would have just been the same. These games get cluttered the more you play through them.

Yup. The gameplay looks like something that would get old quick.

I called a multiverse online game. Man it looks sick, they want LS of mp based spider man game, here it is. Or here it was anyway.

Revive it Insomniac.

This was leaked months ago but people seem to have forgotten. The trailer gave me OoT Multiplayer Mod vibes though, didn't make me think mtx ridden multiplayer game. Multiplayer games really had some neat possibilities back then, we probably would've seen this during the PS3 days as some random thing we wouldn't have expected.

Damn, it looked pretty good. Why would they cancel it?

Probably it wasn't working out and they decided not to pursue it. Learn for naughty dogs mistake

We don't know how far along they got it - this trailer is likely faked to just demonstrate the vision of the game.
Bosses from the games, with different skins/colors
More friendly players are just AI NPCs
Spider Women could be concepts unused from the main games or intended for future DLC.

It'll certainly look good because it's a winning formula - but it's a winning formula that's based on only two full games, an expandalone, that all take place in the same environment, with the same type of side activities.

Personally, I'd rather get another sequel, expandalone, and dedicated DLC, than get a GaaS that would only diminish or take away from what they could do in those dedicated solo releases. A GaaS could harm the franchise - it could be too similar too soon, but if you introduce more varied mechanics and it catches on, then what's the point of making solo story content?
