The Wii U was a mess in every possible way. The launch was a nightmare, with a dreadful name that no one seemingly liked. The marketing failed to land, as well. You name it. The Wii U couldn’t get a break.

I bought it thinking it was like the trilogy and expansion on Switch. I played it for 15 or so hours and stopped. Couldn't get into it, the gameplay was not like the previous ones, it was not what I expected.😕
Greatest RPG ever except end game makes it impossible to complete for anyone who focused on mech battles. Do not focus on mechs or you will be disappointed

Vampire Survivors: Emerald Diorama is one of the biggest content drops ever, with a free DLC based on Square Enix’s SaGa fantasy RPG.
One other problem it had is that for some freaking reason, an external HD needed its own power source, or you would need to buy a Y usb cable, so you could connect it to both USB ports on the console. Such a stupid decision.
I did enjoy Wii U's games, but geez, it was truly a complete trainwreck...
Bad design and stupid games
It's very simple; the name. It confused many casuals who all bought the wii. One coworker i had said "I already have a wii, i need the U part" . Console should have had a different name and not try to ride the wii wave.
Nintendo's arrogance caught up to them. They deserved their hardship then.
Still one of my favorite console.
