PS5's Stellar Blade, Rise of the Ronin Headline New Montage Trailer

PlayStation Japan, as you’ll already know, loves a good montage trailer. And this latest clip – which has a bit of a road trip vibe to it – is a bit of a banger, spotlighting upcoming console exclusives like Rise of the Ronin and Stellar Blade. There’s also space to feature titles like Helldivers 2, Silent Hill 2, Unicorn Overlord, Sand Land, and more.

The theme, Play Goes On, suggests there’s lots to look forward to on PlayStation, as we edge closer towards the summer. There’s also a first glimpse of REYNATIS running on PS5, the upcoming Shibuya-based action RPG from FuRyu, which has been promoted solely on the Nintendo Switch thus far. So, lots of cool games, and a great song. What’s not to like?

I haven’t seen Sand Land but it looks really good. I’ll have to check that out as well. I need to retire now to play all the games I have and want to play in the future

This game is really good, 100% up to PlayStation standards.

I'm glad they added a demo because I fee llike this game went under the radar because people didn't know what it was.

It didn’t, I think they said it was one of their best sellers even more then wo long and that was “free” on Gamepass.

Even did better then stellar blade from what team ninja reported.

It is a very fun game, I have been playing in in spurts because well, summer time is usually for doing things outside for me.

I think the hate was merely because it was exclusive and wasn’t on GP. The people who wanted it bought it and that’s what matters

That impossible to say without knowing each companies individual expectations. For example Arrowhead clearly had a set expectation for Helldivers 2 but the results were far beyond their expectations. Another exclusive for KT (Rise of the Ronin) became their best seller of all time. Was this their expectations? Who knows but I doubt it.

Stellar Blade did very well for a new IP that happened to be exclusive. Did i expect it to do this well? Not sure but what's more important is Shift Up's expectations.

Every game is different. I definitely recommend Stellar Blade.
