VR Gaming in Bed? Meta Quest Adds a Lying Down Mode

Meta is rolling out its v63 software update for Meta Quest, adding an experimental Lying Down mode to play VR games in bed.

This is actually great. Back in 2020, I triggered a herniated disc (where I had fractured my back 20 years back) so bad that I couldn't walk or even sit up for an entire month. I remember I spent a lot of time watching movies and playing theater mode games on my PSVR, staring straight up at the ceiling. I couldn't even lay on my side to watch movies on the TV, so VR was a godsend, even though I couldn't actually play VR games.

You think you don't need a feature like this, until it happens to you!

(((LOOL I just thought of the implications of Meta Quest 3 having pass through bed mode gameplay. Ohh boy, get ready XD ))

I don't see a tonne of use cases but I like the idea regardless. Always happy to have more options!
