This “downturn” does not mean that companies are not making profit. What they are saying is that they want infinite growth, and are willing to put their people on the streets and reduce the quality of their games to make that happen. Profits are still being made hand over fist for many of these companies. They’re just making slightly less profits than they did the prior year. CEOs, executives, and major shareholders are only in it to protect their own class
