Report: Respawn Developing A First-Person Mandalorian Game

Respawn Entertainment, the team behind Titanfall, Apex Legends, and the Star Wars: Jedi series, has a couple of unannounced Star Wars games in the works. It’s unclear what form those projects are taking, but according to one report, one of them may star a Mandalorian. But not THE Mandalorian.

Oh great more star wars, I'd love it if they made Titanfall 3 or new original IP.

I kind of wished they just stuck to the Star Wars Jedi games for now while working on a new IP or something

However hopefully this is a new Mandalorian and not Din Djarin so we get a fresh new character like Cal.

Respawn are better at shooters than melee, and EA squandered the chance to build Titanfall into something big.
Cal was a also pretty bland original character - so all things considered, this might be the best we could hope for out of this situation.

even if it is likely at the expense of Titanfall 3

I just hope it isn't a battle royale type game. I want a great single player mandalorian FPS(or even a Destiny 2 style single player)

If done well, this could be the SW games we have been waiting decades for. Imagine a single player FPS with you as a Mandalorian done well.
