Alongside the announcement that four Xbox games will be headed to other platforms, Phil Spencer also commented on other companies' approaches to exclusivity, namechecking Helldivers 2 specifically: "When I look at a game like Helldivers 2 — and it's a great game, kudos to the team shipping on PC and PlayStation — I'm not exactly sure who it helps in the industry by not being on Xbox."
After being forced under the map with no way to escape, Helldivers 2 was an option added to force respawn so they can get back to action.
Right before the full reveal of Warframe 1999 at TennoCon, we chatted with Ben Starr about the responsibility of stepping into such a huge franchise.
"Thanks a lot for everything, truly".
For me, these Mario + Rabbids games were the best thing Ubisoft has developed in recent years. I'd hate to see Ubisoft drive the series into the ground like their other properties, so I think 2 games are enough. Maybe 1 more.
Great games, I have wanted Sony to copy these games with their own mascots for years.
I think Nintendo has to hire this guy, I mean the fact that miuamoto himself said to him that he is impressed with this work, speaks volumes. Th possibility on having Mario on Soliani's hand could be incredible and quite possibly a new era for Mario games.
Phil want sony/nintendo big games on xbox so he can put xbox big games on playstation but it won't happen that why they had to make console exclusives for their platform.
I mean, c'mon, they literally just said themselves they will put select older games on PS, not same date and release. You know who it helps, you're just acting hypocritical in comments like this. I don't think Sony is sorry you can't advertise their games on your platform the way you've been advertising Palworld as a console exclusive.
He really needs to get fired.
Didn’t he say no on the podcast, to Starfield and Indiana Jones going elsewhere? What’s he expecting in return?
"kudos to the team shipping on PC and PlayStation — I'm not exactly sure who it helps in the industry"
It helps PC and PlayStation Phil.
