WorthPlaying Review - 'Dragon Ball: Origins'

WorthPlaying: "Dragon Ball: Origins features the first two major story arcs from the original Dragon Ball series, so you'll get the first introductions to characters like Bulma and the Red Ribbon army here. We meet Goku in child form as he joins up with Bulma to hunt down the mysterious Dragon Balls that are supposed to grant one wish to whoever manages to hunt down all of them. The game manages to retain a lot of the juvenile humor aspects that made the series so charming, and for the most part, the story is retold exactly as I remember from the original series. Any changes I noticed were pretty minor, and I definitely applaud the developers for selecting territory that hasn't already worn out its welcome (how many times do we need to see the Raditz saga in a video game?)."

"We restarted SuperPhillip's Favorite VGMs, a smorgasbord of the best video game music in history, at the start of the year, and now we have reached the edition where we crown the 200th VGM volume. What will it be? Will you like it? Will I care if you don't? Probably not. Regardless, on today's edition of the VGMs we have music from Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, and Super Mario 3D Land. Enjoy!" - SuperPhillip Central

The 50 Best Nintendo DS Games - Part Five

SuperPhillip Central writes, "Amidst all of this Nintendo Wii U coverage, I have something that I hope doesn't get lost in the shuffle. Why, it's the fifth and final set of ten of The 50 Best Nintendo DS Games. We've gone through forty of the top titles of what I consider to be the greatest handheld of all time. Now, we have reached the home stretch. It's all smooth sailing from here. If one of your favorite DS games has yet to be listed, perhaps it will be a part of these final ten games! As a reminder, no non-North American releases will be represented on this list. There are great games that missed a North American release date, and seeing as the majority of DS systems out there aren't region-locked, be sure to track some down, too. With that out of the way, let's get to the final ten!"

I'd definitely say Golden Sun: Dark Dawn was one of the best games for the DS.
