NoobFeed Editor Daman Shelley writes - Palworld is an enigma. The game is full of glaring inconsistencies that are hard to ignore; nothing in the game feels cohesive; it just feels tacked on to each other. If the game is meant to compete with Pokémon, then it has a chance with some of the Pals designs, but it has nothing that makes Pokémon and monster-catching games so special.
CCG writes - "Overall, while it certainly has similarities to Pokémon, it's more a survival-style game that happens to have collectible monster-style features and both are pretty fun. Technically, aside from a few minor gripes with controls and performing certain actions, it's pretty solid and quite stable. Morally, it's got some mild if cartoonish violence with little else of note. Overall, I enjoy Palworld, and if you want a survival sim mixed with collectible monsters to make your pals, this is a great game with those themes."
Palworld's character customization is one of the title's main areas of criticism, and there are a few techniques Pocketpair can apply to fix it up.
When comparing Palworld's Neutral element to Pokemon's Normal types, the problems of the former make it feel lacking when compared.
I don't understand the point of reviewing a game in Early Access. Its almost appending a review store to an alpha demo.
The game isn't even finished. It's a work in progress, and it's fun. More fun than Pokemon games have been lately. My biggest complaint is frame rates, on Series X. I haven't tried it, on my PC yet.🤔
The game is most comparable to Arceus as far as Pokémon games go. But even then there are some huge differences, like this game being real time combat, and arceus using turn based combat. However, it is still an amazing game, and really demonstrates the potential that Pokémon could have if they decided to dig more into Arceus (and include co-op).
Wow way to shit on the game
