I kinda agree the 7900 XT now with some price cuts is a better and faster card, mostly without ray tracing. And I just bought a 4070 Super. If AMD's drivers were more stable I would have left Nvidia. I haven't bought a AMD GPU since it was ATI, my old X800 XT.

I own a 6750xt amd software is better than nvidia actually the whole fine wine thing is real but a huge but windows 11 hates amd.

Back when microsoft was making windows 11 they only worked with team blue/green amd few years back warned users that were upgrading of this fact every few months there is some windows 11 issue. Its not amd as windows 10 is solid just windows 11 crap.

win 10 5800x3d 6750xt 32gb of ram in my bedroom rig for a year now on that setup 0 complaints on it. I will say raw hardware wise amd has yet to beat a 90/titan class nvida card but i love amd software over nvida. Oh one last thing unlike geforce crap amd software 0 accounts needed you just install then use it a very crazy concept in today's world.

The 7900XT is 2% faster on average across 25 games—a negligible difference. It's 20% slower in Ray Tracing. You're losing DLSS and Frame Generation as well, which are arguably better features than what AMD offers. Not to mention that Nvidia cards can use any upscaling whether it's DLSS, FSR, or XeSS so you're covered regardless of what the devs choose to implement.

The only thing going for it is extra 4GB of VRAM. And AMD cards are known to age better so as long as future games use hybrid rendering pipelines, it'll be fine.
