As regards exclusives, Nintendo has already announced 5 games for 2024 (4 of them remakes/remasters):

Princess Peach Showtime
Luigis Mansion Dark Moon
Paper Mario 1000 Years Door
Mario vs Donkey Kong
Another Code Recollection

A Nintendo direct given prior history, will most likely to air on February to add some new surprises to the above catalog of games.

Since however this is the year that Switch 2 is released, we will have to lower expectations and expect more ports, remakes or second tier Nintendo games.

The platform breakdowns really show how irrelevant xbox has come for selling software.

1 Hogwarts Legacy Switch 41%, PS5 26%, PS4 24%, Xbox 5%

2 EA Sports FC 24 Switch 34%, PS5 28%, PS4 26%, Xbox 12%

Yea, you can see why some developers and publishers are increasingly starting to skip XBox all together. Unless you're in a small minority of successful and highly played Gamepass games, you're pretty much taking a payout on your game just to rot and die on the service.

Not that surprising, the Switch has some killer exclusive titles, so people have to own a Switch to play them.

Those who have stuck with Nintendo through the good times and the bad will feel slighted by the $60 price tag for a version of a game that has hardly improved from a decade ago.

Nintendo knows that their fanbase are bunch of suckers

Sony is doing the same thing with Naughty Dog releases at the moment.

You mean the remake that's was built from the ground up? The $10 upgrade for part 2 that also includes extra content? Saying their the same is absolutely absurd.

At the very least you can wait for a sale on Playstation, unlike Nintendo.

Can you really compare? The Last of Us Part 1 was a cash grab but made with some great effort regardless. The game received a pretty substantial graphical overhaul. More than half of the switch's games this gen have been nothing but ports and remakes of old GameCube/Wii/ DS games and Wii U ports. Ninty has literally been selling fans the same games they've already played, and at higher prices at times.

Super Mario Wonder is fantastic. It's a great time to be a Nintendo fan Also, Luigi's Mansion 2 HD is being reviewed much higher on other websites. I won't buy it because I have it for my 3DS XL.
