The demo sealed the deal for me. Its really good.

Played the demo for 10 minutes. Enough time for me to tell I need this. Didn't wanna get to far

I mean, the whole thing takes 20 to 25 minutes tops, so there isn't much to get 'too far' with it in the first place. The main purpose of the demo was to showcase the combat system. Anything else is straight up not there; the dialogue is the most simple possible, literally using one of the most common fantasy tropes for the 'plot,' and party settings and buying items aren't available either

The combat is really cool though. It reminded me a lot of the more recent 'Tales of' games but without the arena.

Only thing I didnt like is that the performance mode cutbacks dont play well with the art style, it looked significantly better in the Quality/30fps mode, which yes you can get used to, but for a crossgen title and one which artistically might be quite nice, but technically isnt pushing anything out of the ordinary, I was really expecting better graphical settings for the PS5 version.

I’ll play it on PC anyway so its not something that particularly affects me, but I was still surprised by how the performance mode took such a hit even on PS5.

@--Onilink--

A bit weird, as the recommended PC specs are for 1080p/60fps/Ultra, and it's pretty much the same hardware as the one inside the PS5—actually worse in CPU. So, I would bet they started development on PC with DirectX and had some issues optimizing for the PS5 API.

I don't know why they couldn't push this game to at least 1440p60fps. The art style looks so good but the resolution makes it look way too soft, and I don't want to try 30fps in this combat system.

The combat's really good but I'm not a fan overall. The missions and structure are so incredibly basic. Go here. Kill X enemies. Mini Cutscene. Go over here now. Kill X more enemies. Mini Cutscene -> rinse and repeat.

I didn't know how long the demo was. I seen it downloaded it and played. I didn't research or read up on it, it's a demo

I've been waiting on this game since 2017 when it was announced. Glad to see it turned out well, that demo was awesome.
