Sony needs to reach out asa fking p. Get them working on bc for ps5 just to get some ps2 classics running.

Question idk much about this but if this is open source would Sony just be able to use it all like that?

Last thing whays the chamce of this eventually being ran on jb ps4s

Legally they can literally just download it and repurpose it themselves and nothing can be done about it. However this emulator is made to run on PC not a console, with that and how paranoid console manufacturers are about security risks, they'll just make their own if they really wanted to. Which they kinda already have, all the PS2 games you can download on PSN run off a universal unaccessible emulator hidden in the OS, you can access it if you hack the PS4, plays just about anything no problem, but Publishers want you to pay to play those old games, and that means getting the license etc. etc.

the 4 player split screen is awesome, used to play it on my PSX all the time
