QJ.net: "New screens for Brandish: The Dark Revenant from Nihon Falcom coming your way. Little by little, we're getting a picture of how the gameplay will be like. Last time around we got to see screens on the gameplay features, now we're getting a little bit more."
Is it worth excavating this dusty, old relic or should it remain buried forever?
6 years is pretty old dude... Especially for a barebones, lastgen re-release
Its worth it tho - its really good
Brandish: The Dark Revenant is a very solid dungeon crawler with some attributes that make it truly unique, especially in today's gaming market. The combination of the third person perspective, the direct action yet tactical battles, and great level design combine to make a very enjoyable romp. However, I would not recommend letting children play this game.
Brendan Lundy writes "Officially released in 2009 in Japan on the PSP, Brandish: The Dark Revenant has finally made its way state-side. Available on both the PSP and the PS Vita, Brandish: The Dark Revenant is a 3D remake of an SNES dungeon crawler, simply named Brandish. This 3D remake takes old-school RPG genes and splices in accessibility and modern enhancements to make for an overall enjoyable dungeon crawling adventure."
