New Granblue Fantasy: Relink PS5 Gameplay Looks Amazing and Reveals English Voice-overs

A large chunk of new gameplay of the upcoming action JRPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink has been shared, showing more of Cygames' magnum opus.

Kind of worried this game will be overshadowed since it releases so close to FF7 Rebirth and Persona 3 Reload (especially the latter, which launches the next day).

And don't forget infinite wealth. If it ends up scoring well i think it won't get over shadowed. I'm leaning on getting this game to play until FF7 Rebirth comes out. 10 dollars cheaper and a new franchise. But if it reviews badly I'll just get a month of gamepass and play P3R.

Granblue Fantasy isn't a new franchise. It's been around for many years.

Relink isn't a franchise. Like Versus, it's just another game within the same franchise.

Persona and SMT have split into different franchises.

Relink is a spin off of Granblue Fantasy and Persona is a spin off of SMT.

Why is one a new franchise and the other isn't?

Good games stand on their own legs. If it goods as it seems, it'll be fine.

I want to believe you but unfortunately just because a game is good doesn't automatically mean it will be successful. There is a certain amount of risk involved with any project. On top of that, just because a game is good doesn't mean it will be a critical success. I'm sure you already know that for a fact. All we can do is hope for the best and hope that the long development for this title will wind up paying dividends, both financially and critically.
