In a recent update on the highly anticipated Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, series creator Yuji Horii shared some promising insights into the development process. Previously mentioned in May 2021.

Hell yea. I'd get the special collector edition if gamestop had it available. Only cause I can layaway it their. Either way the standard edition is day fking 1 and I'm probably taking a day or two off especially if it's a Friday release. Love some dragon quest especially now that they've changed ff for imo the worse.
Pre-ordered the collector’s edition. The Erdrick trilogy was my first experience with RPGs. Unforgettable.
The original game is my 4th favorite rpg ever. It's the game that really made me love rpgs. Will easily play through the remake 3 or 4 times.

Doesn't surprise me they're splitting I and II from III but I'll still be picking them up day one.
