fate Stay topped charts above Tencent and has made Sony billions. It's first 5 years it made over $4 billion.

Even without partnerships their own IPs make them money. Just to give you context how much Fate has made is it ranks just above or just below Candy Crush which is Activision Blizzards top mobile game and in 3 years less.

Genshin Impact which has a partnership with Sony has done over $4 billion in revenue which is more half what Candy Crush made and it only took 3 years whereas Candy Crush has needed 11 years to do just under $8 billion. It's because Microsoft messed up so badly by turning down Genshin that they purchased Activision Blizzard.

Sony/Playstation without needing to purchase Activision Blizzard already makes more than Xbox in the mobile game space.

There's a difference between a presence and then a bigger push which is what Sony and MS are doing.

Sony does not have a huge presence in the mobile industry the same way an EA or Activision has at the moment. Leaving a link of a game that's popular in Japan is not the flex you think it is.

Candy Crush continues to make money hand over fist beating out all others in the competition. Since it's release they have only continued to make a steady climb, and this is just the base game, not including the spin offs.

Sony does not make more that Activision Blizzard in the mobile area and this is exactly why they are trying to move more aggressively by partnering with developers like NCSoft

Fate Stay is very close to Candy Crush in revenue and in far less time as well.

In fact Fate Stay has already passed $7 billion faster than Candy Crush which is at about $7.5 billion.

Plus Mihoyo made $4 billion on Genshin so Playstation taking a cut from sales on Playstation would combined with Fate push them passed Candy Crush. Don't forget Honkai just hit Playstation and Zenless Zero is on the way too. That will be 3 Mihoyo games on Playstation.

Again you got your facts backwards. It's because Microsoft passed on Genshin and lost at least $1 billion in revenue. Genshin for example beats all of NCsoft mobile games COMBINED
