October 2023 is the 36th month the Xbox Series X|S has been available for. In the latest month, the gap grew in favor of the Xbox One when compared to the aligned launch of the Xbox Series X|S by 110,668 units.

In the last 12 months, the Xbox One has outsold the Xbox Series X|S by 0.66 million units. The Xbox Series X|S is currently behind the Xbox One by 88,064 units.

PS5 was greatly set back by COVID, but is gaining back the market share, while Xbox has been losing ground for the last 12 months as PlayStation's become available.

Xbox was saved by COVID in many ways as people were forced to settle for a series s when they couldn't get a PS5.

The ps5 is outselling the ps4 month after month now that covid and shortages are out of the way, the xbox series are selling less month after month than the xbox one (the worst selling xbox ever) , if the mental gymnastics you do can make that seem equivalent then well done but no one else is gonna pretend that's even close to the same.
