Available today for all who have a copy of the base game of theHunter: Call of the Wild is the new Labrador Retriever content pack.
"The Bengal tiger is by far the most aggressive animal we have created in our game. Their sheer ferocity is unrivaled, but what truly sets them apart is their unique behavior: they actively stalk you!
When tweaking the tiger’s behavior, I drew inspiration from the movies of my childhood, such as “Jaws”, “Predator”, and slasher films like “Friday the 13th” and “Nightmare on Elm Street”." - François | Expansive Worlds
Expansive Worlds have announced that theHunter: Call of the Wild gets a new Labrador Retriever DLC later this month.
"Expansive Worlds and Avalanche Studios are today very happy to announce that they have just released the "Emerald Coast Australia" DLC for "theHunter: Call of the Wild"." - Expansive Worlds and Avalanche Studios.
Excellent map. I started this morning. I made a challenge for myself.. I arrived to the Mangrove coast, and i tested to see how long I could walk ankle deep on the shorelines. 1.5 mins, and I was ambushed by my first crocodile.
I love this. The gators in Mississippi were (understandably though, as true to life) too passive and just weren't that fun to hunt. The crocs in Australia are a blast though.
Also, I had set my controller down for only a few mins, while I was on my phone I looked up, and there was a large male kangaroo standing defensively as tall as he could. Before I could even pick my controller, he had already attacked me.
Add in the Bantengs, and you have one wild map perfect for people who like animals that fight back.
I'll be hitting up Finland tonight!
