Activision to Buy DemonWare?

A report in the Irish business press is suggesting that Activision is set to buy Dublin-based middleware developer DemonWare.

The Sunday Independent writes that Activision is set to buy DemonWare for around $20 million. Demonware was formed in 2002 by Dylan Collins (pictured) and Sean Blanchfield. Its multiplayer online technology has been used in Call of Duty 3 from Activision as well as THQ's Saint's Row and Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas.
