I've been enjoying both. It would be awesome if Teyon did a R vs T game. The one on Genesis was great. Time for a long overdue reboot.

PrimeVinister522d ago

For all of its shortfalls, Terminator: Resistance made me feel like I was in the films. And that's definitely good enough.

PrimeVinister522d ago

A RoboCop vs. Terminator from Teyon would be class!

RoboCop did really well for them apparently so who knows. We might see them resume their argument yet :-D

Barlos521d ago

What a game that is! I was recommended it by someone on Twitter a few years back ( I still own a Mega Drive) and I found myself a copy. Love the aesthetic and the music. Great game.

I'd like to see Teyon try a Dredd game next. I think they have what it takes to make it work.

darthv72521d ago

Hell yeah... judge dredd would be sweet.

This studio cares about the projects they work on. Hopefully they can do a sequel to terminator with a bigger budget. I feel like terminator went under the radar but with Robocop they are getting their credit and word to mouth advertising for this game is strong

PrimeVinister522d ago

Terminator: Resistance definitely flew under the radar at launch but good word of mouth and a few biggish YouTubers finding it and loving it meant that RoboCop was set up to be the success it is.

The devs absolutely deserve it. And they should 100% follow up with more Terminator. People are paying attention now.

I have enjoyed both games played both pretty leisurely but overall the games are solid. I need to finish terminator and I’m close to the end of robocop. I’ll finish them eventually

PrimeVinister521d ago

The DLC for T:R is excellent. Probably a bit tighter and more killer than the main bit.

Armyofdarkness521d ago

I need to get both these games I think. They seem awesome!

such a fantastic game. and it plays great on the portal. If they ever add a VR2 support, then it would be perfect.

MrDead7d ago (Edited 7d ago )

If you're on PC you can use UEVR, it works really well with Robocop. I'm Looking forward tho this DLC.

Man... i gotta step up my PC game. Havent built a new machine since 2010... and honestly i havent had the need to since I prefer consoles for all my gaming needs. Steamdeck has been good to supplement PC gaming that my old tower cant do.

This was such a great game, wished I played it sooner, but then I wouldn’t have the joy of discovering something everyone else already knew. So much fun that I actually went after the platinum and got it, although it’s really not difficult to achieve.

I will be waiting and watching for the release of the dlc for this great game.

Still a bit miffed they weren't able to perfectly recreate the auto9 sound from the first movie. It's a distinct sound and they just do not quite get there.

jznrpg7d ago

First game was great! My pile of games is ever growing but I’ll throw this on the pile sometime this year

Playing the base game now. It's clunky but kinda fun.
I'm streaming it actually. Went screwy during my second session but the other two sessions have been fine.

Yesssss. Been wanting to give Robocop a whirl! Getting 80's nostalgia-slammed this month it seems, I guess I'll give Texas Chainsaw Massacre a shot too. Dad had me watching that stuff at like 7 years old back in the 80's. XD Game on!

TheEroica36d ago

Playing it now on steam deck. It was 9.99 recently. It's wonderful. Love it.

I think a lot of people will be pleasantly surprised with Robocop, one of my favorite games this gen

VenomUK36d ago

I heard that it's really good. Too many games but I will definitely give this a go as it seems actioney and I will be able to play in small chunks.

jznrpg36d ago

RoboCop and Digimon are good games. I don’t know much about Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I ffigured it was a multiplayer game and wrote it off.

Elda36d ago

I got rid of my copy of Robocop after finishing the game. Now I can get it through Plus to play the dlc releasing this summer.

darthv7236d ago

Robocop is bad ass... so good i had to get it twice.

Sweeet, more Robocop is awesome news.

One of my favourite games of 2023, it helped get rid of the bad vibes and disappointment Starfield left. I really had a blast with this game, keep jumping back in since I finished it as it has such a good gameplay feel.

UnbreakableAlex54d ago

Robocop is a great game indeed, I loved it.
Great to see more is coming.

I deleted starfield after 5 hours ^^ what a letdown.

jznrpg54d ago (Edited 54d ago )

Saw this on PlayStation Blog yesterday. The first game was really fun albeit a bit simple but it felt like RoboCop. I’m in for the sequel as long as they have a physical copy available like the first game.

ZeekQuattro54d ago

A welcome surprise for sure. I recently rrpurchased the game on my PS5 for around $9. I had it since launch on my Series S but at that price I double dipped.

BlackCountryBob53d ago

Great news, so happy to be getting more of this game which to me was one of my highlights of 2023 / early 2024 but hoping this springboards into a full sequel for launch in 2026

Toecutter0051d ago

The game has a real charm to it. A little more polish overall, especially with the voice acting and enemy a.i and it could be a truly AAA experience.
