Discounts also boost sales of PS5 titles including Gran Turismo 7 and Forspoken.
CCG writes - "I have to say, the original game was a fond cornerstone of my childhood, and this remake brought back some very fond memories. I cannot recommend this game any higher, it is worth its purchase price and remains a lovable classic. Morally, it's suitable for almost any age and nothing I'd be afraid to get a child as a gift. "
In a year of critically-acclaimed titles Forspoken has faded into the background, but it fills a niche that has vanished in gaming, and deserves a second look.
It wasn't overlooked.
It got well deserved criticism and this year has been filled with higher quality games from Alan Wake to SpiderMan and Baldur's Gate.
I played it and enjoyed it for the price I paid on sale but it was firmly average.
I've just ordered Gran Turismo 7 and Forspoken together for £45 at ShopTo. I've never purchased a Gran Turismo game before because I've never hugely been in to sim racing, but after recently trying out Forza Motorsport on Game Pass my opinion has changed and I don't own a racing game for PS5. As for Forspoken, it's got to be worth £12 surely!
As I said. It'll be top until Xmas now
Still surprised that this game wasn't given a GOTY nomination at TGA, but it certainly doesn't need a GOTY nomination to help it sell.
