Fans weren't necessarily requesting for a Collector's/Deluxe Edition but we're merely asking for a "physical" version for game preservation reasons. Larian simply simply sweetened the deal even more with goodies for just $10 more.

Also, I just saw for the first time the collectors edition they did at launch and damn...it's beautiful. Kind of wished they restocked it for the physical edition.

25k is a high number for CE.

Mass produced gamer trinkets just don't seem to be worth a lot, except for scalpers.

I've got loads of CE, the MK11 I got was limited to 40k units and the Ace Combat 7 was 4000 units iirc without getting it out of the box. I'm not fussed with the value, just enjoy those franchises and if they did another run, I wouldn't mind.

My favourite CE has to be my Ghost of Tsushima which sold out so fast BUT as far as I'm aware, wasn't a numbered edition.

@olMyerslo I’d Google the resale value of the Baldur’s Gate 3 collectors edition lol it’s holding quite well. In fact, for a time there I coulda flipped it for ~$2000. I’ve never seen that before and I have a shit ton of collector’s editions.

Not the perfect solution as they charge 20$ for shipping and only have a deluxe edition so it comes to a little over 100$ or so with taxes and shipping but it is better than nothing .
It’s nice the PS5 version is 2 discs and not 3 like xbox. Already preordered one I may order another one for my unopened collection

PS. These aren’t limited editions so no rush unless you want the game sooner. Apparently they are making them in batches by need and not a certain amount so the sooner you order the sooner you get the game.

Yeah for me it's the 1 thing I like. One of the coolest packages was when CDPR finally came over to console. They stuffed the regular game box with some goodies and a thank you letter for console owners.

If this is what physical games comes to. I'm alright with that. I still prefer to buy off Amazon, etc but to atleast make something available is great. I'll be getting this at some point to be honest I wasn't expecting anything until next year. Would've been a little earlier but Christmas is pretty close
