Sonic the Hedgehog helped revive 63-year-old Sega. The firm wants a repeat with its other classics

Utsumi addressed rumors of Microsoft interest to buy the company.

Sega’s operations chief dismissed the suggestion that Sega, which is owned by Sega Sammy Corporation, the company formed from the merger of Sega and Sammy Corporation in 2004, had any intention of being sold to another party.

“Many companies are interested. We feel honored,” Utsumi told CNBC.

“We have attractive IPs and potentials. Companies owned by the owner. A strong owner. I don’t think that kind of transaction is going to happen.”

The less Microsoft gets their hands on the better!

What a terrible company Microsoft turned out to be…

I would hate to see the day they purchase even more of what everyone used to enjoy jointly.

I didn’t really rate it that well to be honest, not bad just “alright”. I just respected them changing the design after the backlash more than anything.

I just don’t think you need the real world and other human beings (apart from people like Robotnik obviously) for a Sonic film. I kind of wish we had just gotten Mobius over Earth.

Star Wars: Hunters Review | GamingonPhone

Vince Zyle writes "Star Wars Hunters is a really fun game! It’s not as good as other Star Wars games like Star Wars Battlefront 2 but coming from a developer like Zynga who worked on very underwhelming and low-quality titles before, this is a major upgrade.

There’s not much objectively wrong with the game aside from the work needed to make visuals smoother during animations. That’s one of the biggest issues at present alongside frame drops that occur from time to time when there’s too much going on which isn’t too bad but certainly noticeable.

In conclusion, Star Wars Hunters is a game for arena shooter fans who are looking for an action-filled game. Some of the other issues will hopefully be ironed out with future updates."
