I've got some non gaming mates apart from they like GT and FIFA when coming round and when they watched me playing MW2 once they said it hasn't changed much gameplay wise since world at war.
I think that speaks volumes when a non gaming friend says that, but I guess CoD has it's moment to moment gameplay down to a tee even though for 75% of us playing CoD it's run kill die, run kill die, run kill, kill die etc etc.
Personally for me it's something I have installed for my FPS fix as there ain't much out there really compared to 360/ps3 bro shooter days.
I'm good for a couple of matches a week but I soon get bored and turn to other games during the week.

Doesn't equate to sales pea brain, people have to spend more to download the larger files. The physical UK sales is down by about 25% compared to last year, more people going digital and the larger file size leads to more bandwidth being used

Actually it's more related to the fact that the games size is huge and there's no data on the physical discs meaning that players regardless of where they buy the game are required to download basically the whole thing at the same time as each other

This is about Internet traffic, not sales of the actual game. Yeah it probably sold very well but isn't it the case that anyone who had MW2 was forced to download MW3 in order to play MW2 for some reason? So you've got the people who actually bought it as well as anyone trying to play MW2 contributing to the Internet traffic they're talking about. Misleading story.

Nothing is going to pull people away from COD. It is the most casual a shooter can possibly be. Most people dont want to worry about objectives, squads, teammates, level destruction, etc. They just want to fire bullets at overpriced character skins. Its been the biggest gaming franchise for 20 years. MW4 could be nothing more than a QR code for a poop emoji and it would still be the biggest selling game of the year.

The Finals will end up having some success, but not at the expense of COD.

I admit, the campaign sounds boring and I haven't even bother with it, but the multiplayer is pretty solid and the maps are actually great for a change.

i did, its old maps which are better than the crap they make lately, but they feel off sometimes, they were better back then, the only thing "good" is movement, its not a 70$ worth dlc... the campaign doesnt sound boring its the worst shit i have ever played and i have played countless of crappy games.

Thats good, i checked sites but there was no key available, only accounts, so got it directly from steam, i was getting surgery and promise friends i would get it to play with them through recovery, i just tried it since i cant play properly yet, i usually dont get the cod but this one had some of my old fav maps!

Yeah, don't recommend accounts. Had a few problems with those, so never did it again.
I got it for the series X with Brazilian gift cards. It's much cheaper in the Brazilian store and Xbox allows you to change regions to redeem codes.
